Cameron Highlands.



Cameron Highlands is the smallest district in the state of Pahang which is located in the north-western corner of the state. One of the wonders of Malaysia, it is the largest and most famous hill resort in the country. This highland paradise still retains much of the charm of an English village.Being a primarily agricultural domain, you will find an abundance of vegetables and fruits farms here.


Its One of the most popular and picturesque destinations in the whole of Malaysia, the Cameron Highlands attracts visitors of all ages and from all over the world. Many people plan to simply pass through the Cameron Highlands and end up extending their stay for several days or even weeks as there are so many interesting things to do here activities can be arranged through a number of reputable companies. 



 Cameron Highlands is also the leading producer of flowers and tea in Malaysia. Be prepared for a lovely sight of extraordinary flowers you won’t see flourishing elsewhere in Malaysia! Located on the Titiwangsa Range at about 1500 metres above sea-level, the temperature here can drop to 16 ˚C or lower at certain times.Cameron Highlands is made up of 4 main townships followed by smaller settlements at different elevations. The first town from the south is Ringlet, followed by Tanah Rata, Brinchang, Kea Farm, Tringkap, Kuala Terla and Kampung Raja

Jungle Trekking
Those who are reasonably fit and have a strong sense of adventure will ant to spend several hours exploring the jungles of the Cameron Highlands. Jungle trails lead trekkers to natural features such as sparkling waterfalls and streams, and by far the best way to get the most out of this experience is by booking a tour through one of the many companies that can be found in the Cameron Highlands. 

Mountain Biking
Mountain biking is a great way to get fit while exploring and mountain bikes can be hired from a range of businesses including cheap Cameron Highlands hotels. By far the best way to get the most out of mountain biking is to join up with one of the groups that travel here regularly from places such as the city of Kuala Lumpur. While many of the well-worn mountain biking trails are not for the faint of heart, those who prefer to take it easy can find plenty of gentle trails to ride along. 




Tea Plantations Tour
Available at the Boh Tea Plantations, Bharat Tea Estate and Sungai Palas Estate, tea plantation tours a great way to gain a little insight in the importance of the Cameron Highlands. There are five distinctly different stages involved in the tea process and staff at the plantations take the time to explain these to visitors as well as demonstrating the machinery involved. 

Golf
Situated between Brinchang and Tanah Rata, the Cameron Highland's 18 hole golf course is open to all and this is a great place to relax and unwind for a while. Even those who have never held a golf club before are welcome to play a round or two and the area's stunning scenery and fresh mountain air make playing golf here an uplifting experience.
